As a psychotherapist, I feel privileged to work with people as they explore the life challenges that bring them to treatment. I understand that it takes courage and vulnerability to take the first steps to contact a clinician and come to therapy. The experience of therapy is unique to each person. It is important to me that you feel safe during our work and that our collaboration is a good match for you. A positive therapeutic relationship creates the opportunity for insight, growth and fulfillment.
I am an interactive therapist, who facilitates a treatment environment that is empathic, warm and supportive. I treat adolescents, adults and couples and provide both short and long-term treatment.
Some patients enter therapy looking to explore relationship patterns, overcome emotional conflicts and attain greater authenticity and self-awareness. Others present during a time of crisis or come searching for increased satisfaction from career or relationship difficulties. I don’t believe in subscribing to a particular mode of therapy. People are as individual as the circumstance that brings them to treatment. I prefer to pull from a range of modalities based on the situation at hand.
Areas of treatment include:
Anxiety
Depression
Trauma & PTSD
Perinatal and Postpartum Issues
Women's Mental Health Issues
Relationship Difficulties and Divorce
Substance Abuse
Eating & Body Image
Life and Career Transitions
